Menopause for me meant not only emotional baggage but my libido basically died for about 3 or so years, and I am pretty sure it had a lot to do with me getting together with the ex in the first place, and going through the I don't want to be the strong independent woman for a while phase.

Shortly after Michael was arrested my libido came back with a vengeance lol.

Already did menopause early started at 41 right after my mom died, then finished about 9 months ago? more or less?

Of course my body was trying to go into menopause from the time I was a teenager because though I have all the right female hormones, I have a higher than average level of testosterone. Nowhere near a guys, mind you, but about 3 times what most women have.

I forget how old you said you were, but perimenopause/early menopause can play havoc with your emotions even while your rational self looks on in horror. It gets better, if that's a factor.

Some of the stuff he comes up with is hilarious.
