Dumbfuckistan Politics
Cuz I didn't see one on the first page.
After 8 years of Obama, I'm suddenly realizing how bad most of these politicians are at giving public speeches. :ohdear: They all look so unelectable and yet I know at least half of them have a decent shot. Very scary indeed. |
Finally.
Clearly the best shot was Dick Cheney, and he's not even running. |
And can someone who knows fashion please tell me who made Bernie Sanders' suit that he wears in the first Democratic debate? Talk about sharp.

I am enjoying this in so many wonderful ways. |
And his hair stylist...
|
Oh good Hilary isn't wearing a pantsuit.
Thank fucking god. What an atrocity, those things. |

On the plus side, Hilary actually looks good here. Which is good in the sense that I really don't want to see any of the Republican bids anywhere close to a winning percentage, and Hilary is the only really viable option to stop that.
|
Bless Sanders' little red heart but he's just a leftist McCain, and we know how that game plays out.

Boy the Democratic debate is just so much less funnier than the Republican debates without Trump up on stage.
|
Oh man Clinton doesn't know how to shut her mouth though.
|
crib notes for non-Merkins would be great tia
ETA 'cos Aus politics are self-explanatory |

He has my vote. http://moneynation.com/bernie-sanders-net-worth/ The Chairperson of my local county's Democratic Party messaged me today and asked me to get involved in their meetings at the college. I'll have to negotiate a few hours at work each month, but I want to help get progressive people elected in our community. CNN tried to can Bernie during the debates. CNN: Describes Hillary as "front runner" before debate even began. Describes Bernie as the "unexpected threat". Afterwards they deleted comments supporting him off their website. http://i58.tinypic.com/2z6dyqu.jpg The United States media is bought and sold. |
Idk I'm just watching the first Democratic debate. Election is just under a year from now.
Clinton - Wife of former President (and one of the most popular Democratic presidents to-date) Bill Clinton, experienced politician in her own right. Open flip-flopper but lifetime politician who knows the game and knows how to get agendas through even if they aren't as liberal as those of us on the left would like Sanders - Senator of Vermont, possibly the most liberal state in the US - pretty much only elects independents because they're too socialist for the Democratic party to swallow. As such, card-carrying commie. Pretty decent dude, potentially racist - but hey, he's like 80, so he's doing well for his generation - but totally unelectable because too many people in this country are still uncomfortable with the words "socialism" and "communist" The rest are all shmucks no one cares about. I'll do a write-up about Republicans when the next Republican debate happens. |
Personally I love Lawrence Lessig but really never gonna happen.
He didn't even qualify for the debates because of a stupid loophole where the major media outlets didn't include his name on a number of ballots, excluding him from even possibly qualifying. |
|
Speaking of Sanders, did you notice the compressor had to kick in for the crowd mics when they announced Bernie? He was right after Hilary and by far the loudest supported campaigner there.

I mean, really. Any of them. Pick one. |
They all seriously want to build a wall between us and Mexico to keep the poor brown people out.

I said potentially. Don't put words in my mouth.
His platform has essentially avoided any issue regarding race and he only skirts around the questions when they are brought up to him in a very direct manner. I wouldn't be surprised to see something surface much akin to the way things surfaced with Ron Paul. |
