Soap in the dog's water bowl. I'm glad summer break is almost over.

she sounds like a force of nature. do you think boredom factors into her acting out at all?

Sure, that's part of it. If she's being kept busy she doesn't have time to do stuff she's not supposed to. But I can't turn my back for 30 seconds. I think she's playing/entertaining herself so I get up to do something and she's stuffing the cat in the dryer, letting the dog out the front door, or taking a shit in the back yard.

Today after losing her Wii privileges she has no choice but to sit next to me and play board games/do puzzles, or whatever other of her toys she wants (one at a time, pick up all the pieces of one and put it away before getting the next one out). She said she wanted some water, so I let her go do that herself, and soon she was pouring water and ice in the dog bowl (which I didn't think was a problem). When I got up a few minutes later I noticed she had also put soap in the dog bowl.

She's testing boundaries/ seeing what she can get away with more than just acting out from boredom. She knows she's not supposed to do these things so she only does them when I'm not looking.

Ever since her timeout for the soap in the dog dish, she's been fine, but I haven't let her move from the couch next to me.
