Will Covid-19 Kill John Galt?

Does the wealth of the successful depend on the labors of the poorest among us?

Will he finally die for good?

Would you prefer being a slave, servant, peasant or free man?

Who is John Galt?

MondoVman 25th March 2020 08:28 AM

Congrats, Mantis!

"Who is John Galt?" are the exact words from the famous 1957
novel Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Mantis, here is all you need to know about this subject.

Exclusive footage from inside the Federal Reserve preparing the $6 trillion stimulus package.

Ya I read it years back. Managed to stomach my way through it... I think it was like 1000 pages, but seemed more like 5000 pages long. When i was nearly finished the book, i actually left it on the metro by accident. Had to repurchase it, only having like 100 pages left or something. Was not impressed, but at that point I couldn't not finish it.

I absolutely missed that she was serious. I read a bunch of her novels at about that age and just thought of them as dystopian science fiction.

If the great plague of the 14th century triggered a post-feudal imagination, it is possible - and desirable - that this one triggers a post-capitalist imagination. And fast.

If the networks break down, it is possible. I don't hold out a ton of hope though.
