From your post I thought you were implying it's a bit dull. Did I misinterpret?

No, not dull at all. I really like it, and would recommend

I've started on a selection of short stories by Connie Willis. I've not read anything by her before but a few people on book club group were raving about her. She's good. Really brilliant at building atmosphere.

I read the Doomsday book by Connie Willis. Very derpressing but good.

Then Woman on the edge of time by Marge Piercy. Not what I thought it was going to be like but really enjoyed it.

The Restraint of Beasts by Magnus Mills. Another one of those books where the less you know before going in the better.

What i will say that it is incredibly easy to read.

I lost the book I was reading on the train. It was by Tiffany Haddish... her autobiography. It was good. Am sad that it's gone.

I'm gonna read John Irving's "Widow for One Year" now.

I heard it was good.

He's one of my favourite authors - with books like "A Prayer for Owen Meany" "Cider House Rules" "Life According to Garp" <- these are all very very good, and would highly recommend.

So, at least I'll have this book, while I mourn the loss of my other book. Am thinking that maybe I'll contact lost & found services.

I was in Waterstones yesterday and I spied my favourite bookseller. I collered him and I said ''here good chap, recommend me something interesting and fun'' so he wanderd over to the sci-fi fantasy section (yes I'm in there a lot and he knows what I like), and he suggested The Lies of Locke Lamora which I'm assured is just like the TV series Hussle but with a fantasy twist. I'm liking it so far. Really good writing.

It was a fight to unwrap. I thought it was fitting given the subject of the book.
