Same as any other minority. Or are you suggesting that the voting value of, say, African-Americans should be higher than that of Caucasians?

It’s not that it’s surprising a political ad would feature indiscriminately selected, wholly unrelated b-roll to sell a candidate to the American public. It’s that they didn’t even bother to excise the Canadian flag from the opening shot clearly featuring Vancouver’s skyline.

It's been pointed out to Gray Connolly that even tweets can be improved with some fact checking.

That is the current law. I know your country's view on race, so not surprising that you would disadvantage those of a different race.

It took until the 60's before aboriginals had full voting rights.

Any aboriginals in national government? Not counting the ones that said their great grandfather raped an aboriginal, so they got a drop.

The tu quoque approach to discussing an issue has always been a non-starter. Many children eventually realise this.

Of course, but what is failed to be understood, if the national government does have this power, to manipulate the culture through the children of the nation, what happens when the wrong guy is in charge...

Back to Hermit's ignorance of the US system.

We are a republic, not a democracy, not a monarchy.

Power is from the people, our system is designed to have the greatest power at the lowest level possible. For example, the highest level of law enforcement is on the county level with the elected Sheriff. The State and national government require permission to enforce law within the county.

Where did I ever describe the US government as a democracy?
