A new gilded age begins

The residents of MindRomp were all gathered round the throne. Each of them dressed in their very best for this special day at court. Climbing the dais up to his new seat of power the King of Hearts turned and addressed his new minions . . . "Welcome to the start of a new gilded age!"

As he sat on the throne for the first time a few thought they saw a shadow pass over the king's face, and in that shadow . . . a brief sneer. And in their hearts a cold place opened.
