Lotion physics is nearly identical to mayonnaise physics except for
the diameter of their containers, plus I assume, one doesn't make
the effort to slice open the plastic of the old container in order to
transfer / spoon out the nearly 4 oz of lotion which the dispensing
"straw" can no longer deliver.

I went next door to sort out a failed furnace. The recently widowed lady there is a bit overwhelmed with taking over the house responsibilities. I don't mind helping.

I sat at one point to read something, then noticed her meal sitting there. I jumped up and encouraged her to finish her meal (she was headed out soon) and she explained that the meal was not hers, but she had put it there for her husband.

She brought him food every day in hospital. When the nurses told her he passed away, she didn't understand. She understands 'died', but their euphemism confused her for a bit. Until a bit later, she noticed he was cold, and she asked for blankets to warm him up.

Life is heartbreaking. I'm so glad he had such a loving, beautiful wife.

Not going to attribute it at present. Want to avoid bigoted knee-jerk disparagements
