If so, he's also haunting the cat.

Also I turned the TV, which is really close to that wall, on a few minutes ago and the little bastard seems to have shut up for the moment.

Of course SO is currently in the frozen North. So it's me and the cat.

The Animal in the Wall is back - in a different wall! Now it's in the wall right behind my computer desk, which is parallel to and on the same outer wall as the first one.

It's even more noisy and this is the first time I've heard it since Mar. 5.

What is it doing in there?

Maybe.

It was quiet all night, but at six this morning I woke and it had climbed into the bedroom wall above the computer desk wall.

I have bad feelings about this. It's bigger than a mouse. If it was a rat it would have chewed its way into the actual house where the food is by now. I'm afraid it's a squirrel or another weasel that can't figure out how to get out now it's in.

And there's absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Wood and aluminum siding external, gyprock internal.

We made a hole inside to retrieve the last weasel, but unfortunately it died. And though we've searched plus we have a new roof, we can't find an external hole - it doesn't need to be very big for a skinny little weasel to enter.

Not really stoked about the idea of letting a weasel inside. They are very aggressive and my cat would definitely go after it.

Ah, the joys of home remodeling. You too can add animals-in-the-wall-exit-doors throughout your home.

Just check out this Nova Scotian's solution to Mother Nature: [...censored...]
